VCE Art - Piece One: 'The Ways we Escape'

For my major Art project, I chose to explore the theme of 'Escapism', as it is something I connect with.

I utilised self-portrait to create three A4-scale artworks, each created with pencil, watercolour and ink.

​

I was especially inspired by the intimate surrealist work of Miles Johnston for my piece.
